Ban Prevention & Account Protection

Written By Chatsan Support

Last updated About 1 month ago

Whether it is automation or a human operator, if your chat volume is too high, Telegram can restrict or freeze your account.

This article will help you prevent account bans by following a structured approach (profile setup + warmup + red flags).

What Telegram officially states:
“Anyone who sends spam or unsolicited advertisements will be limited.”
Telegram FAQ

1. Profile & Data

The goal is to signal to Telegram that your account represents a real human profile.

  • Add a profile picture

  • Add a date of birth

  • Add a short bio (not exhaustive)

  • Add a recovery email

  • Enable 2FA

  • Sync / activate contacts

The more complete your profile is, the more the algorithm trusts your account.

2. Warmup (Most Important Thing to Do)

To avoid any risk, your Telegram account must go through a warmup phase in order to benefit from the desired traffic capacity.

If you have a recent account and / or one that has not received many conversations, you must go through a warmup phase (≈ 15 interactions per day at the beginning), avoiding all “red flag” actions that could reduce algorithmic trust.

1st Day – First Use

Configure your profile and all basic information (see section 1).
The more complete your profile is, the more the algorithm favors your account.

2nd Day

Join channels and groups via invitation link and / or search bar.
No private chat actions for now — only join.

3rd Day

Interact inside channels / groups.
React sparingly to messages and send a few short messages.

4th Day

Try to receive 1–3 conversations.
Engage naturally with them.
It is important that you are the recipient, not the sender, of the first message.
Avoid situations where the other person abruptly ends the conversation.
Continue interacting in groups.

5th Day

You may now receive a higher volume and benefit from responses generated by Chatsan.
It is important that you are not the one initiating most conversations.
Limit the number of conversations to 5–10 for this day.

6th Day

You may receive up to 15 conversations maximum.

Day 6 → Day 12

Increase daily volume gradually by 5–10 conversations per day, reaching a maximum of ~75 conversations per 24 hours by Day 12.
Chatsan usage becomes possible at controlled volume.

Day 12

The algorithm now has increased trust in your account.
Do not introduce sudden growth spikes.
Warmup is a long-term principle, not only a 12-day phase.

3. Bonus Point 🏆

  • Purchase Telegram Stars and / or upgrade to Telegram Premium

Buying Stars or Premium moves your account from a basic user profile to a paying client profile.
From an algorithmic perspective: this profile is less likely to be a bot.

4. Major Red Flags Before / During Warmup 🟥

  • You are systematically the sender of first messages during the warmup phase

  • You connect a Telegram session geographically far from the original login location

    Example:
Original connection → USA, San Francisco
    Second connection → Philippines, Manila

    Original connection → France, Paris
    Second connection → Madagascar, Antananarivo

  • High rate of blocks or reports:

    • Users block the account

    • Users report the account

    • Users immediately leave conversations

Telegram increases the account’s “spam score”.

  • The phone number associated with the account originates from one of the following countries (high-risk for volume accounts):

    • Philippines (+63)

    • Bangladesh (+880)

    • Pakistan (+92)

    • Nigeria (+234)

    • Ghana (+233)

    • Kenya (+254)

    • Madagascar (+261)

    • Indonesia (+62)

    • Vietnam (+84)

    • India (+91)

    • Bénin (+229)
